Stent Thrombosis eight years past drug-eluting stent placement: a case report.

چکیده
A trombose de stent (TS) é uma grande preocupação na era dos stents farmacológicos (SF). Há vários relatos de trombose de stent até cinco anos após sua implantação. Relatamos o caso de uma paciente de 68 anos com TS tardia, que se apresentou como infarto agudo do miocárdio com supradesnivelamento do segmento ST (IAMCSST) após interrupção da terapia antiplaquetária, oito anos depois da implantação de SF. O longo tempo para o aparecimento do evento neste caso traz novas questões quanto aos aspectos controversos de tempo de seguimento ótimo e tempo recomendado para a suspensão segura da terapia antiplaquetária em pacientes com SF.
